Umbilical Hernia

During Max's regular growth checkup, Max's mum asks the doctor about Max's swelling belly button. According to doctor, it's a situation call umbilical hernia, which is common among babies. The doctor refer a specialist called Dr. Cheah Siew Leng from Gleneagles Medical Centre.

After been checked by Dr. Cheah, he told us not to worry as the orifice is quite small (about 1cm) and normally will be closed within two years time. Therefore, nothing need to be done at the moment. We just need to go back to him after a year to check the closing progress of the orifice.
